New 999 Silver UK Coin
New 999 Silver Coin from the Royal Mint 2014
To commemorate the First World War which began in 1914, the Royal Mint have introduced the second ever £20 coin. The new silver coin is struck in 999 fine Silver, displaying the British Shield and Lion along with Queen Elizabeth the 2nd.

What makes this 999 Silver coin interesting is that it has a £20 face value, which makes it legal tender within the UK. It has great collectable value as the second ever British £20 coin to be struck. A fine way to honour those who fought and died in the First World War.

Hedge your bets either way with this grand looking silver coin at a bargain price of £20! Find the coins at the Royal mint here (Be quick as there are only 250,000 available)

  2. It sounds like a great way to hedge my bets. If silver drops lower then I can still spend the £20! Ha!

  4. You try and spend it! No one will take it! I got stung on this already. Royal Mint are a scam mint and are waaay overpriced for 1/2 oz.
